2012 by the Numbers

As I look back over 2012, there is much encouragement to be found in our church:

* 10 college graduations.

* 1 couple engaged.

* 2 couples married.

* 1 baby boy on the way.

* 6 new members.

* 15 new people attending services.

* 10 people started new jobs.

* 1 member bought a new home.

* 1 member away at seminary preparing for the mission field.

* 1 member followed God’s call to the mission field in Africa.

* New ministries were implemented, such as Guys/Girls Group, Exejesus, Marriage Group, and Youth Fellowship.

* We had 17 people attend the Retreat in Lincoln City, OR.

* New youth promoted from the Chinese side, which makes 12 youth entrusted to our English ministry.

* Our attendance on Sunday has grown from an average of 28 (2011) to 35 (2012).

* Our largest Sunday attendance (44) and Friday attendance (40).

* Our largest tithe and offering in a single month ($13,556.17).

* 68 first time visitors in 2012 (Friday and Sunday).

And all of this is not to mention the countless ways I have witnessed you grow in your walks with the Lord. It has been a privilege to see God shape you into men and women who can be used for His kingdom. God has certainly moved at CSBC in 2012 and I am eager to see the work of His hand in 2013. Happy New Year to you all.
