25 Days to the Election

The Presidential election is just 25 days away. Here are nine points to consider in these next 25 days:

1. We are electing a President, not a Pastor.

2. Our vote reflects our values, regardless of political affiliation.

3. Paul tells us to have no division in the church; this includes division created by political differences. (1 Cor. 1:10)

4. Regardless of who you vote for, you are choosing someone who is imperfect and does not measure up to Jesus.

5. Jesus showed little to no interest in political agendas. He cared more about His kingdom.

6. All political parties are incomplete, because none of them follow the Bible exhaustively.

7. Voting is a privilege and only about half the world enjoys it.

8. The election matters much less than some make it out to be and it matters much more than some make it out to be.

9. No matter who gets elected, they are only in office because they have been appointed by God. (Rom. 13:1)
