Already There

When Moses learned that he would not be the one to lead the Israelites into the promised land, he summoned Joshua and told him not to fear but to be strong and courageous.  The reason Moses gives is this: “It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you” –Deut.31:8.  Three glorious truths come from this verse:
1. No matter where we go, God has already been there.
2. God will be with us when we get there.
3. He will never, ever leave us while we are there.
God wants to take each of you on a journey, and the only way you will find it is to trust His heart.  There is nothing He cannot foresee, nothing He cannot solve; and nothing you do can ever cause Him to forsake you.  Therefore, find your journey and walk in it with full assurance.
