Child of the King

I want to encourage you this week to be grounded in the reality that if you know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then you are a child of the King.  People will say many things about you in your life…some hurtful, some you will never forget…but the one thing that remains is that no one can take this identity away from you.  No matter what our friends, parents, co-workers, media, classmates, or the mirror say about us, we still have a Father who chose us from the foundation of the world to be adopted into His Family.  What an amazing truth.  Now we are given the privilege to live through Him and for Him, so that others may “taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psalm 34:8)  Be joyful that if you know Jesus you have an inheritance in the Kingdom that awaits you.  Have a great week in the Lord
