Definitely Worth It

Have you ever shared the gospel with someone and felt like it was a complete waste of time? I have, more than once; not because sharing the Gospel is a waste of time but because I was met with such hostility, and hardness of heart that it seemed futile to even keep on speaking. We rarely get to see the fruit of sharing the Gospel. Most of the time it seems like our words go in one ear and out the other. But rest assured they never do. God always accomplishes that which he sets to accomplish and this includes those whom he desires to save. Perhaps you have shared the Gospel with ten people in your life and have never witnessed any of them come to salvation. But how are we to know in fact that all ten never do come to salvation? Perhaps one or two of them, later in life at a time we are unaware, get saved. I like to think we will remember their faces in heaven. If there is somebody God has laid upon your heart and you are wrestling with whether it would be worth your time to share the Gospel, may I encourage you it definitely is. If there is somebody you have been sharing the gospel with, but have seemed to get nowhere, may I encourage you to press on and pray God will water and grow your seeds of truth. Your labor is not in vain.
