Desiring Answers vs. Desiring God

Are you needing an answer from God right now? Contemplating a decision? Considering a change in your life? Not sure which path God wants you to take?  May I encourage you to seek God in this matter. Maybe your response is, “I have.”  Seek Him more. The degree to which we genuinely desire an answer from God is the degree to which we will seek God. Of course God’s primary concern is always to give us Himself, and not an answer; but in His grace and mercy, He does give us answers as well. Don’t lose heart in seeking out God. If you don’t have an answer yet, more than likely it’s because you care more about the answer than God. And God may not give you an answer until your heart changes this disposition. Desire God, more than your answer, and you just might find both.
