“Donkeys Speaking to Me”

I am encouraged by the fact, and I hope you are too, that the greatest advocate we have for our righteousness is God. No one cares more about us being righteous than He does. That’s comforting because He has all power and authority. I was reading Numbers 22 where God actually opens the mouth of a donkey to rebuke his prophet, Balaam. If God was able and willing to cause a donkey to speak to keep Balaam from sinning, how many times does He keep you and me alive by protecting us from ourselves? I am always encouraged by “donkeys speaking to me” no matter how dumb I may feel in the moment. God will use whatever He needs to get us wherever we need to be.
