Well, Fred Cai is leaving our church family tonight. I want to share with you why I am encouraged that he is doing so. Four Reasons:
1. This is something that could have happened only at the hand of God. No one, on their own, chooses to take up their cross and follow Christ. Only God does this work. (John 15:16)
2. There are people who will not get saved unless someone goes to them. (Rom. 10:14-17)
3. Those who leave houses, wives, brothers, parents, children, and friends for the sake of the Gospel will not fail to receive eternal life. (Mark 10:29-30). We have the rest of eternity to see each other.
4. Going is obedience (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8) and I love seeing God’s people be obedient.
