Inseparable Love

This Friday we are going to be talking about the love of Christ. Is there anything greater than our Savior’s love? I love what Paul writes in Romans 8: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Not only does Jesus love us, but he loves us in the way he assures us that He will always love us and nobody can ever take it away. Having a bad day doesn’t change His love. Circumstances don’t dictate His love. Persecution can’t take away His love. Going without food or clothing cannot remove His love. Fear cannot negate His love. Even death will not conquer His love. Nothing is able to separate us from the love of Jesus. There is no other foundation so strong as the love of Christ. I may fail, my family may fail, my grades may fail, my job may fail, my spouse may fail, my health may fail, my bank account may fail, my security may fail. But the love of Christ will never fail us. Be joyful this week in His love.
