I was trying to think of what topic does the Bible talk about most. I wasn’t quite sure how to ascertain this, but I decided to see what non-generic and non-proper nouns are used the most in the Bible. Here is what I discovered:
Glory (358), Peace (367), Altar (380), Blood (425), Sin (440), Death (442), Law (498).
If we were to stop there, the top three are a pretty miserable list: sin, death and law. But there is one more that I discovered: Love (551). We could argue that the Bible is about love: loving God and being loved by Him. God loves you. And though this may be the most trite Christian saying out there, it does not change the immense truth of this statement. He loves you and He has given you His Word to tell you how much He loves you. Hear the words of God spoken through the prophet Malachi: “I have loved you” (Mal. 1:2). Please be reminded of this every day and in response love Him back by giving Him your life, and more of your life, until you have no life left to live, except His.
