Jesus is Alive!!! And because of that, those who know Him, believe in Him, love Him, and surrender to Him will never die. We may leave this “earthly tent” but we will never suffer eternal death because Jesus conquered it. Our Savior is not this weak, pitiful man that the world often portrays. He was a conqueror who looked sin, death, Satan, and hell in the face and conquered all of them. And He now takes the power by which He did so and gives it to us. Death will not master us because it could not master Jesus. Take joy this week in the fact that our God has given us life through His Son. “So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?'” (Heb.13:6). There is no fear in death because death does not await us–Jesus does.
