I am thankful to the Lord that we are a family. God has adopted us as sons and daughters into His kingdom, which means that we are brothers and sisters; and in the eyes of God, this is not a metaphor but a literal reality. I am thankful to the Lord for being so patient with us. I am reminded of Paul’s words: “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life” 1 Tim. 1:15-16. God has not finished the work in us yet, but He will complete it because His love is perfectly patient. Last, I am thankful that God has given you a heart to follow Him. There is no greater calling, task, or assignment than to be beckoned by our Heavenly Father into His mission and His Kingdom. I pray you are thankful for the glorious God and Savior that we serve. Soli Deo Gloria
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and their families.
