This past weekend we had our highest Friday/Sunday attendance. On Friday we had 30 people (which is our highest for a non-Food & Friend Night) and on Sunday we had 42. I am very encouraged by this and I hope you are as well. We don’t want increased numbers for the sake of numbers, but we should rejoice in the gathering of believers along with the appearance of new faces. The writer of Hebrews tells us, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” Heb. 10:24-25. I’m thankful that we are fulfilling this command and meeting together to stir up one another to love and good works. We need you in our body and you need us and we will never outgrow this mutual need. Your presence is always an encouragement to me and the church.
