Taking a stand for Jesus is neither easy nor popular. It’s not even very rewarding in this life. But it will be someday. Jesus said “You will be hated by all for my name’s sake.” But take heart, “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.” Jesus does not call us to anything in this life that He himself didn’t endure in His life on earth. If you are finding it hard to take a stand for Jesus, be encouraged that “By your endurance you will gain your lives.” If your life takes a stand for Jesus, He has promised to take a stand for you at the end; but if your life does not take a stand for Jesus, He will by no means take a stand for you. Keep persevering…there is a glorious, all satisfying Savior that awaits if you do.
