What is my purpose in life?

If you Google “What is my purpose in life”, this is what you will get: First hit is about “Personal development for Smart People”. Second is about Kabalarian Philosophy. Third is an article from Psychology Today about creativity. Fourth is “15 questions to discover your life’s purpose”. And some of the others on the first page are from Oprah, Zen Buddhism, and answers for students. Based on the variety of answers, I think it’s safe to say that no amount of research will answer the question of “What is my purpose in life?” Some people will say your purpose in life is to be happy. Some will say your purpose is to make others happy. And still others will say your only purpose is to have a purpose. I choose to find the answer to this question in the One who created me. If God created me, then He gets to define the purpose for which I was created. So what does God say is my purpose in life? Why was I created? For God’s glory (Isa. 43:7). We have no other purpose in this life than to bring glory to God. So how will we glorify God this week?
