I want to encourage you to be reminded why Jesus came to this earth. Two verses come to mind, each telling why He didn’t come and why He did:
John 3:17: “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
John 12:47: “for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.”
During this Christmas season, may we be hopeful, may we be joyful that we have a Savior who did not condemn us, but loved us enough to come…to this wretched place called earth… that we might be saved. If you know Jesus as Lord and Savior, you are NOT condemned. You have eternal life. You are redeemed. What an unbelievably beautiful gift.
