Spiritual Gifts: Sharing and Giving

The average Christian meets 22,000 people in his/her Christian life. If we share the gospel with 100 people in our lifetime (studies show it’s actually much less), then we have shared the gospel with .5% of the people with whom we come in contact. We have to share the gospel with 220 individuals just to reach 1% of the people we meet. If every one in Krucial saved just $1 a day, every day for a year, at the end of the year we would have $11,000. That is enough money to build a well for an African village so they can all have clean drinking water. That might seem like a lot of money to save, but we must ask ourselves, Have we ever had to drink unsanitary water? These are just two examples of how we can use the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given us. The greatest dishonor to a gift and the gift-giver is to not use the gift and look at it with contempt. May we use the gifts that He has given us.
